In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and in order to commend the advanced and set up role models, on the afternoon of July 28, the Party Working Committee of Pinghu Subdistrict held the Pinghu Subdistrict “Two Excellences and One Advance” Commendation Conference. The Party General Branch of Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Hospital was awarded the title of Advanced Primary-Level Party Organization; Comrades Hu Mingyan and Yan Qing were awarded the title of Excellent Party Affairs Workers; and Comrades Cheng Bijun and Tang Yun were awarded the title of Excellent Communist Party Members.
Hu Mingyan, Secretary of the Hospital Party General Branch and President of the Hospital, spoke at the conference as an outstanding representative.
Hu Mingyan introduced that since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic last year, the hospital’s Party general branch and all Party members have given play to the role of a fighting fortress and a vanguard and exemplary role. They actively fought the epidemic, devoted themselves to the front line, and stood fast at their epidemic prevention and control posts, including pre-examination and triage, nucleic acid sample collection, and community three-in-one prevention and control services, demonstrating Party members’ spirit of dedication and courage to fight. The hospital dispatched more than 500 person-times of medical staff and collected nucleic acid samples for more than 150,000 person-times. With practical actions, they fulfilled the duties and missions of Communists and white-clad warriors, firmly building an iron wall for epidemic prevention and control.
